Roles and Responsibility

The Local Secretary shall:

  1. issue notices for general meetings of the Union Local and the Local Executive Committee;
  2. cause to be maintained all membership records, documents and correspondence of the Union Local;
  3. keep a record of the minutes of such meetings; and
  4. act as the Bargaining Unit Secretary of the Bargaining Unit of which the Local Secretary is a member.
